HTMS Presents Aladdin

HTMS Theatre Department presented Aladdin Jr. Friday and Saturday nights.  Directors are Jennifer Bruno and Chris Byars.  The cast consisted of sixth, seventh, and eighth graders.

Awards Day at HTHS

HTHS Seniors were recognized for achievements and scholarships at the annual awards ceremony held Friday, April 28.  Representatives from numerous colleges and military branches were on hand to offer scholarships that amounted to $13.5 million.  Counselors Amy Cane, Laura Stalls, Leta McGehee, and Heather Winship coordinated the impressive event.

Cahaba's Coach Giangrosso Wins BCBS Grant

Cahaba Elementary has been selected as a Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama Be Healthy School.   The school will be awarded a grant in the amount of $9,000.   During the presentation at the beginnning of the 2017-2018 school year, there may be television coverage, print media, and local and state representatives on hand for a brief ceremony.  The grant was written by Cahaba's physical education teacher, Jaime Giangrosso.  Coach Giangrosso has written multiple grants for TCS, resulting in thousands of dollars for physical education equipment.  Coach Giangrosso will share her expertise on grantwriting at the TCS EdCamp at HTHS, June 22.
