Ryan Hook's fifth graders and Jeanette Cerisano's first graders collaborated recently to learn about the seasons. Fifth graders used a data table to help first graders create a bar graph to show the hours of daylight in each month in 2016. Students found patterns in the data and discovered that we have more hours of daylight in the summer months than winter months. This was a wonderful learning experience for everyone involved! The students will work together again to make posters about the temperature and weather of the four seasons. Mrs. Hook and Mrs. Cerisano enjoyed the collaboration as much as their students!
