Newest TCS Teachers Gather to Reflect on First Days of School
New 18-19 teachers gathered today to debrief and learn together. The group shared first days' stories, laughing and supporting one another. They reviewed the TCS District Literacy Non-negotiables and looked over the TCS Literary Canon. Breakout sessions included a discussion of the district's plan for academic vocabulary instruction and a brief tutorial regarding Google and Clever.
Thank you for the heartfelt feedback from a new teacher.

New Teacher Orientation
Trussville's newest teachers were welcomed and given an orientation Friday, August 4, at the TCS Central Office. The teachers got the opportunity to meet one another and central office personnel and learn about the district's mission, vision, expectations, and TCS Educator Effectiveness. Every teacher received a laptop computer, along with login information and quick introductions to iNow, website maintenance, and Ready Sub.
