The TCS Educator Effectiveness Team has been tasked to undertake a year-long study of teacher effectiveness and to develop a new plan for evaluating teachers. Under the guidance of State Department of Education's Dr. Alison Grizzle, teachers and administrators from all schools in our district are working to create rubrics to be used for classroom observations. The team met Friday, November 13, to create rubrics based on observable teacher and student actions in classrooms.
